النفي في المضارع البسيط: don't وdoesn't

Present simple negative: I don't / she doesn't

لتقول «لا أحب» أو «لا يعمل» بالمضارع البسيط تحتاج كلمة مساعدة: don't أو doesn't. والخطأ الأشهر عند المتعلمين العرب: إضافة s للفعل بعد doesn't.

١القاعدة

القاعدة الذهبية: بعد doesn't يرجع الفعل إلى أصله بدون s، لأن s انتقلت إلى does.

do فعل أيضًا بمعنى «يفعل»، فقد يأتي مرتين: I don't do my homework at night. She doesn't do the shopping.

don't وisn't مختلفتان: She isn't working (الآن، مضارع مستمر) — She doesn't work (عادةً، مضارع بسيط).
