التكوين: might + الفعل الأصلي — نفس الشكل مع كل الفواعل.

- Take an umbrella. It might rain later.
- Don't call him now. He might be asleep.
لا نسأل عادةً بـ might. نقول: Do you think you'll go? أو Are you going to go?
may لها نفس المعنى تقريبًا لكنها أكثر رسمية: It may rain tomorrow.
