«سيارتي تُصلَّح الآن» و«لقد كُسرت النافذة». نفس فكرة المبني للمجهول، لكن مع زمن مستمر أو تام: is being repaired, has been broken.

قارن:
- The room is being cleaned. (العمال فيها الآن)
- The room has been cleaned. (انتهى التنظيف، الغرفة نظيفة)
- The room is cleaned every day. (عادة)
النفي والسؤال: The road isn't being repaired. Has the letter been sent? — No, it hasn't.
being مع المستمر، وbeen مع التام — لا تخلط بينهما.
